Assistance with child arrangement order
I just wanted to write a review for Dave who has been helping me with an arrangement order for 2 of my children. Dave has been very professional and assisting me with all the documents that I needed to produce for the court hearing. Where quite frankly I didn't know where to start and it all being very emotive, . Dave kept me on track with what the court wanted and needed to hear opposed to letting my emotions get in the way. Dave was also very flexible with his appointment times which was fantastic at this very difficult time. Thank you Dave.

Grand children

Professional support through an awful time.
Dave was recommended to me by one of my lifelong friends, this friend had heard of Dave from a close friend of his that was unknown to me, this friend had endured 2 years plus of hell, I'm still in year 1, falsely cast as a bad father, an abuser and narcissist by my ex partner during separation, its more than common to feel completely alone battling on within a criminal justice system that appears to support lies and not evidence. Ones' nerves stretched beyond breaking point most months. If money is no object one could have a team of barristers engaged for help, not many of us are so fortunate, i'm a hard working father of 3 sons with their well being and futures lodged as part of who I am, having help and support and engagement with Dave has been great, good honest value, frank discussions and constructive opinions offered from his experience. Dave's experience with the children first approach through the family courts etc comes through very clear, it's saved me a lot of money dealing with various aspects of my case vs. costs of a solicitor too. I have a lot to work through still but thanks to having help from Dave I retain some hope of a return to a little more calm and normalcy.

A truly professional and amazing indvidual
Dave has been amazing, i have been in the proceedings of a child arrangements order for a very long while, its quite complex, i havent been able to afford legal support throughout so have gone at it a lot on my own. Then i found Dave who i can not thank enough, if i have found him sooner i think the whole process would have looked different for me, after the 30mins free call i already knew that Dave was the right person to be by my side (virtually) to help get the right outcome for my children. Dave is real, passionate and professional who not only holds amazing knwoledge but this is powered by Dave having been through the experience himself first hand. Dave has given me my confidence back while also guiding me through all the complexities making it feel so much easier. I can't thank Dave Barma from McKenzie Friends enough for the incredible support he gave me during one of the most difficult times of my life. Amazing advice and support

First of all I like to thank Dave for the professionalism and the help he gave me. I wish I used him sooner. Dave helped me with my statements, court proposals and even in court. I think what is really vitally important is to feel that someone is actually listening to you and taking into account the impact any situation could be having on your own mental health and how life changing things can be. I am a person and wish to be treated as a person with feelings, emotions, fears etc. and I have to say that Dave Barma was instantly supportive and tuned into all those mixed emotions and feelings I was having due to the impact of what is happening in my life. It is also nice to have someone who is trying to be much more straight forward and honest about the processes and how things can take much longer than indicated. I feel I have someone who is going to keep me informed of every stage and just much calmer about everything. Dave is very approachable and everything is based on what help and support I need and at a time convenient to both of us but with huge flexibility. I feel I am now on a journey with someone who intends to be there with me, rather than feeling I am all on my own and I have no way of controlling any of that said journey.

Review for Dave Barma
I have worked with McKenzie Friend Services and must state that at very anxious time for me in relation to some up coming court proceedings decided to leave my details on the service website. I was called back very quickly by Dave Barma who immediately put me at ease, when he explained what we could do together to support my current situation and case. David was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. But most all seem to have great knowledge of family law and the complex issues it can present to parents. I did speak with other members of the service who were all great, important you are supported by who you click with, in my case it was David, and true to his word he has provided every thing I asked for in a very timely fashion. Honestly can't thank Dave enough for his help and professional guidance. I would have struggled to fight for my children if it wasn't for him guiding me through and telling me how to go about things. I've never had to deal with anything like this before and he has just put me at ease with it all and I feel a lot more confident going forward.
